At Seamus Connolly, D.O., Inc., we believe exceptional psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person. Our Indio practice provides comprehensive, individualized psychiatric treatment for adults and older adults throughout the Coachella Valley. Led by Dr. Seamus Connolly, an ABPN board-certified psychiatrist serving the community since 2019, our practice combines evidence-based medicine with a compassionate, personalized approach. Services include adult and geriatric psychiatry, medication management, and Spravato treatment for eligible patients with treatment-resistant depression.
Meet Dr. Seamus Connolly
Dr. Seamus Connolly is board-certified in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut, his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University California, and completed his psychiatry residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Dr. Connolly has provided psychiatric care to patients throughout the Coachella Valley since 2019, with a focus on comprehensive, individualized treatment for adults and older adults.
Our Psychiatric Services
Adult Psychiatry
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and individualized treatment for adults experiencing mental health concerns. Our approach considers the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence emotional well-being.
Geriatric Psychiatry
Specialized psychiatric care for older adults, addressing depression, anxiety, behavioral symptoms, cognitive concerns, and the complex relationship between mental and physical health. Treatment plans account for age-related changes, medical conditions, and medication interactions.
Spravato Treatment for Treatment Resistant Depression
For adults whose depression has not responded adequately to conventional antidepressant treatments, Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray may offer another treatment option. Administered under medical supervision at our Indio office, Spravato requires careful evaluation, structured treatment sessions, and post-treatment monitoring.
Insurance and Payment Options
Seamus Connolly, D.O., Inc. accepts traditional Medicare, many Medicare Advantage plans, including most Desert Oasis Healthcare and PCAC plans, select commercial insurance plans, and self-pay patients. We do not accept Medicaid/Medi-Cal or Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP). Insurance participation and coverage vary by specific plan.
